Affpilot is run by AFFPILOT LIMITED (company number 14771593), 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. This page explains what we keep when you chat with us, and how to have it deleted.

What we keep from support chats

You can talk to Affpilot support in two places: by messaging the Affpilot Facebook Page (Messenger), or through the chat bubble on our website. For each conversation we keep:

Messenger: the Page-scoped ID Messenger gives your chat with our Page (a number that identifies you only to our Page). We do not ask Facebook for your name, profile picture or friends.
Website chat: if you are signed in, the chat is tied to your Affpilot account; if you are not, to a random code kept in a cookie in your browser. Your internet address is never stored.
The text of each message you send us and when it arrived. For a photo, file or voice message sent in Messenger we keep only a note of its type (for example "image"), not the file.
The reply our AI assistant wrote, the reply that was actually sent, the help articles it was based on, whether a person took over, and which staff member approved it.
The language you wrote in, so we can answer in the same language.
If you connected a Messenger chat to your Affpilot account from inside your signed-in account, the link between the two.

We use this only to answer your questions and to keep a support history our team can follow up on. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.

How long we keep it

Support conversations, drafts and replies are deleted automatically 12 months after your last message. If your Affpilot account is deleted, every chat connected to it is deleted at the same time.

Delete your chat with us

You do not have to wait. Use any one of these:

By email: write to help@affpilot.com with the subject "Delete my chat data". For Messenger, tell us the name shown on your Facebook profile and roughly when you messaged us, so we can find the conversation.
In Messenger: send the message Delete my data to the Affpilot Facebook Page. A member of our team confirms in the same chat.
If you have an Affpilot account: sign in and open a support ticket asking us to delete your chat history.

What happens next, and how fast

We delete the conversation, our drafted and sent replies, and any link between the chat and an Affpilot account within 30 days, usually within 7, and tell you when it is done. Your Affpilot account itself is not touched unless you ask for that too.

Delete your Affpilot account and everything in it

Email help@affpilot.com from the address on your account and ask for the account to be deleted. We delete your account, your articles, your connected sites and keys, and every support chat connected to the account. Payment records are kept only as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Remove the chat from your own Messenger

Our deletion does not remove the messages from your own Messenger app; Meta keeps that copy under its own privacy policy. To remove it, open the chat, tap the Page name and choose "Delete chat".
